Approach & Values

My Approach

My approach is heart-centered, intersectional, and honors the inherent sovereignty and wisdom of those I work with. Our work together is collaborative, relational, and emergent - together we will be with and learn from what is present, and consciously navigate how to hold, shape, and / or transform what arises.

Through my offerings, I integrate writing, energy work, earth-based spiritual practice, and Somatic Experiencing techniques to facilitate healing and creative process while providing deep, meaningful, and holistic support. I provide grounded and therapeutic presence and a safe, welcoming, and sacred container. I support you to self-determine your own path and process, with gentleness, compassion, and love.

Guiding Values

Right to Be

All living beings have the right to be. We have a right to live, grow, and make mistakes. We have a right to heal and change. We have a right to the whole of our human experience. To be works in progress. To be welcomed and accepted, exactly as we are.

Sovereignty & Self-determination

Each of us holds the inherent wisdom and capacity we need to self-determine our own healing and creative process. As sovereign beings, we are the ones who are best positioned to make decisions over how we live, heal, grieve, and die.

Relationship

We exist in relationship. With the plants and trees and birds outside our home. With the earth, the moon, the sky. We exist in relationship with each other and ourselves. With our past, present, and future ancestors. We are accountable to and strengthened by this interconnection.

There Are Many Right Ways

There is no one right way to heal, grieve, live or create. It is okay to know and not know, and to do the best we can with the information we have. I offer space to honor what feels true and aligned, while acknowledging that it’s okay for things to shift, change, and evolve.

Multiplicity

We are complex and multidimensional beings. We carry complicated histories, lived experiences, and lineages, which means we hold multiple and often contradictory truths. We do not exist in binaries and boxes. We are multiple and expansive and there is room for all our parts.

“The support made me feel seen and heard.”
